I'm enjoying my new swamp darter. I've only had tesselated darters and they are very different. The swamp darter has worm like movements compaired to the very stiff acting tess. The swamp darter also made seemed like he liked to hide at times so I added a bridge decotation and he made quick use of it. If I can't find him all I have to do is look under the bridge.

The new darter is doing well. He wasn't eating flakes or freeze dried brine shrimp at first. After following around the other darter at feeding time, he learned. Took a few days, tho.

You know whats funny. They chase and eat the flakes in the water current. If the flake lands on the bottom, the chase is over and they don't eat it. Those flake are left for the chub sucker. Laughing

My swamps don't get along afterall. The chase breaks quickly. I quess its my original swamp darter that is the bully. If I can get my hands on another or 2 fish, I will.
